Sing to the Lord: Music in Divine Worship
Published by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and approved in November, 2007, these guidelines are designed to provide direction to those preparing for the celebration of the sacred liturgy according to the current liturgical books (in the ordinary form of celebration). It echoes the call to full, active, and conscious participation in the Liturgy through its sung elements. The document was developed by the music subcommittee of the Committee on Divine Worship of the USCCB.

National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM)
The members of NPM serve the Catholic Church in the United States as musicians, clergy, liturgists, and other leaders of prayer. Pastoral musicians who are full-time, part-time, or volunteer music directors, choir members, cantors, and instrumentalists can view the website and attend conferences and training to develop their knowledge of liturgy and music.
